The Original Siberian caviar lies explosively upon the flavor spectrum. Uninhibited and bold, the medium sized, amber-toned roe are driven by powerful projections of earth, salt, and sea. As dark perlage bursts initially upon the tongue in a maelstrom of salinity, its crescendo quickly crests in a velveted buttery wash along the cheeks. This is a true Caviar lover’s delight, manipulating a momentary escape through the roe’s distinct flavor homage to oceans ensconced by churning waves and whipping winds.

Pairing elemental, old world vines like Pinot Noir from Burgundy embraces earth’s essence, leaning into the flavors of nature. The delicacy of soil, stone, and climate helps counterbalance the robustness of Siberian caviar. In their combination, we see the reflexive nature of the earth, teaching us that while the language of fish and grape may be accented through different dialects, foundationally it is the same. The mushroom, clove, dark fruit, and slightly oaked nature of Pinot Noir provides safe harbor for Siberian caviar’s lingering salinity, delicately folding any residual saltiness back into the earthy palate from which it sprung.

introducing

The Original

Mirroring the diversity of wine grapes, the flavors of Caviar waiting to be savored exist within a vast array. No two tins of eggs are the same, and the singularity of a caviar experience grounds the heady process of the fish to fork.

As nuanced the palate of the roe, so too must be the environment in which it is properly enjoyed. Caviar is best sampled on a mother-of-pearl demi spoon; Add a slight chill to the vessel and you’ve created the naturally cool environment of the roe, and the waters that nurtured it, on your tongue. Be sure any glassware accompaniment is equally frosted.
